Bio | As the first female IT Director at the International New York Times I’ve strengthened relations and communications between IT, business and newsroom partners over the past 3-years. Improved collaboration has increased our speed towards core goals and uncovered some great opportunities for us to explore. I also oversee the Innovation & Development Lab based in Paris – an incubator for ideas harnessing digital and social media to drive engagement with great content from around the world. More on this soon…My strength is leveraging technology and I love using it to make a real difference. After more than 18 years international experience I’ve a number of great tools in my bag, including: digital development, organisational design, business process management, software design, a good sense of humour and, most importantly, a strong sense of humility. I’m naturally pragmatic, practical and curious and I’m happiest when discovering a new corner of the world with my backpack. Solo, independent travel is my way of meeting people and exploring new cultures, perspectives and terrains. Motivated by the demands of an international, agile and innovative environment I thrive in a role that rewards a desire to constantly learn and evolve. |
